I am pleased to be able to announce that I was able to raise a total of £407.00 as a result of climbing Snowdon last month. The picture above shows me with the Summit behind as we begin the return descent down the Lamberis Path.
Once again I have to say I was amazed to be able to have the opportunity to climb the mountain in almost perfect conditions, for a third time!! I have previously climbed Snowdon back in my teenage years with my father and later with my school mate, Bruce.
This coupled with the fine climb up Cader Idris in April ... gives quite a false impression of what mountain walking is about!! (the climb up Cader is currently showing in the slide show to the right!
Having climbed these two mountains i am fancying doing a third maybe Penyfan in the Brecon Beacons or the Sugarloaf near Abergavenny. Let me know if you maybe would like to join me on this challenge too!
