My Birthday Celebration

On Saturday 10th July a group of intrepid friends joined me to row at Roath Park





.... Some took to rowing boats ... and we saw a number of Grebes tending their eggs on the lake!






























At times it seemed more like an African river with all the thick weed we encountered!

The rowers return!!

Others took to the water on the Roath Princess .... and can you believe it I was given a piece of birthday cake from a 4 year old celebrating her birthday that afternoon!!

Later others joined us at Atlantic Wharf as we ate at this waterside location

... where a good meal was enjoyed by all!

and where I was able to share my own birthday cake!!
