my new home Causeni

The seating on Air Moldova resembled a tin of sardines but I got safetly to Chisnau at 4,30am and managed to avoid paying excessive luggage tarrifs.

I concluded that Gatwick Airport is not a place to hangout for any length of time it is truely an ugly place

I was whisked off in car to my destination and was soon tucking into my local breakfast made by my local host Olga a Russian Moldovan, before catching upp on some sleep!

This is my new home!

Causeni is very small and very different to Chisinau

do you like the cloud affects?

I was shown the 14ty century church, which was built by Muslim Tuirks originally.

The cross on the top signifies this with the Christian Cross appearing above the small moon of the cross.

I met a small group of children with whom i will be teaching today.

I have also haqd my first home made dinner with three home made fruit jams and honey from the Ural mountains region of Russia, where Olga visits her parents! She says we Moldovans believe in healthy eating we use home grown fruit and vegetables .... It is good to be back in Moldova!

I have also discovered that on Saturday they will be clebrating their 20th Anniversary of seperating from Moldova.

Its going to be good .... will sleep well tonight!
